ANNOUNCEMENT OF SAFM LINE UP 2020

Johannesburg – Wednesday 29 April 2020 – The South African Broadcasting Corporation’s (SABC) talk radio station SAfm, remains the only national talk radio station with the largest footprint in South Africa. In order for the station to retain relevance in the broadcasting space, it is imperative that it continuously refreshes, strengthens and rotates talent to ensure that it leads the conversation as it has in the last 83 years. The station believes its existing talent and with the introduction of new personalities, will ensure it remains current and attractive to its audience.

GOOD HOPE FM INTRODUCES EXCITING PRESENTER LINE UP

Cape Town-Wednesday 29 April 2020 –  The South African Broadcasting Corporation’s Cape Town based commercial radio station, Good Hope FM is excited to announce a shake-up to its on-air line-up for 2020, in accordance with the station’s listener and regional demographics.  The new line-up launches on-air on Monday, 4 May 2020 and Good Hope FM is pleased to announce that veteran radio personality, Stan Mars, will move from his current mid-morning show to host ‘The Big Breakfast with Stan Mars’ from 06:00 – 09:00.

This comes as the country is dealing with the unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Key to the work of the Solidarity Fund are measures aimed at lessening the severity of the COVID-19 impact on the nation.

UKHOZI FM LAUNCHES NEW SHOW FOR THE DURATION OF THE LOCKDOWN

Johannesburg – Saturday, 18 April 2020 – The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is pleased to announce that one of its radio stations, Ukhozi FM will be introducing a new show for the duration of the lockdown called i-Lockdown noKhozi FM. This is in response to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic that has necessitated a national lockdown since 26 March 2020.
