“It’s absolutely beautiful. I actually feel like I’m in Limpopo. Being a city boy that grew up in Tshwane, the set of Skeem Saam makes me feel like I’m back with my people”, says Warren.
Set to play the character of ‘Gopane’, we welcome Warren Masemola to the family. Gopane, a Turfloop native, who moved to Johannesburg to work as a taxi driver makes a sudden appearance a few months after his son Smaki, had mysteriously gone missing. Turfloop families are under scrutiny as he vows to uncover the mysterious secret of what really happened to his son
Warren makes his first appearance on the 4th of November 2024.
Meanwhile, it seems all is well in Mr Kgomo and Melita’s world, until a blast from the past suddenly comes knocking at their door, threatening to blow their house down. Played by Lesley Musina, ‘Fefo’ on the surface might seem like an ordinary charming, confident and good-looking man but we soon discover a darker side to him. One that is full of menace and violence.
“Shooting Skeem Saam is a dream come true. What an amazing production. Everyone is so welcoming here and I immediately felt at home when cast, crew and production welcomed me with open arms. It feels like I’ve been here forever,” says Lesley.
