SABC2 HOME FOR THE 2024 SOUTH AFRICAN FILM AND TELEVISION AWARDS

SABC Video Entertainment announces that the 2024 South African Film and Television Awards will be broadcast live on SABC2 on Saturday the 26th of October 2024 at 20:00.

Lerato Kganyago and Skhumba are confirmed as the hosts of the 18th edition of the SAFTAS. Nomalanga Shozi and Katleho Sinivasan will be the hosts of the red-carpet bringing the glitz and glamour to the viewers from 19:30 – 20:00.

The Craft awards, which will be recorded on Friday the 25th of October 2024 will be broadcast on S3 on the 3rd of November 2024 at 19:30. The hosts for the Craft Awards are Kuhle Adams and Christopher Jafta.

SABC has scored a total of 39 nominations in the 18th edition of the South African Film and Television Awards, with SABC1 leading the pack with 16 nominations, followed by SABC2 with 12 nominations and S3 with 11 nominations.
