| Johannesburg – Thursday, 7 November 2024 – The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is pleased to announce the live coverage of the Proteas inbound cricket tours from 8 November 2024 until 30 April 2025.
The live matches will be broadcast on SABC’s TV and digital platforms, which include www.sabcsport.com and SABC+.
SABC 3 will be the primary broadcast platform with www.sabcsport.com and SABC+ also carrying the matches live. This is in line with SABC’s strategic objective of making sport available and accessible on various platforms to all South Africans. All live matches will include a live studio build up, with match previews, presented by SABC Sport anchors and top analysts, both on TV and digital platforms.
The SABC’s Head of Sport, Ms Keletso Totlhanyo shared “We are very excited with this latest acquisition that will enable our audiences to enjoy the upcoming Proteas inbound cricket tours. We would like to also express our gratitude to CSA for working with us in ensuring that we deliver on our mandate and also our promise to let our audiences have access to the best sport events”.
