Johannesburg – Saturday, 5 April 2025 – The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) wishes to clarify the status of the contract for one of its flagship programmes, Generations: The Legacy.

The current season (Season 33) is under contract, and the agreement for Season 34 is in place and in the final stages of completion between both parties.

The SABC and Morula Pictures would like to reassure the public that Generations: The Legacy will continue to air on SABC 1 without any interruption between Seasons 33 and 34.

The SABC extends its appreciation to Morula Pictures, as well as the cast and crew, for their unwavering commitment and invaluable contribution to the ongoing success of this award-winning production.

Viewers can look forward to more captivating and dynamic storylines in the upcoming season.
