This is due to New World TV, the rights holder for the sublicensing rights having failed to supply the feed. However, the match between South Africa and Congo is currently underway and broadcast live on SABC 2, SABC radio stations and SABC+.

The following matches have been affected:

Tournament Matches Time
AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Cameroon vs Kenya 18h00
AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Nigeria vs Libya 18h00
AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Egypt vs Mauritania 18h00

This is regrettable as the SABC and other broadcasters around the Continent have paid New World TV, rights holder for the sub-licensing rights of these matches. The SABC will engage with New World TV to find a solution regarding this matter.

The SABC would like to apologise to its audiences for any inconvenience this may have caused.
