Mr. Makelana, who passed away yesterday, was a long-standing Mughana Lonene FM Senior Announcer and was popularly known as ‘Khel-Khel’ or ‘Bhut Khel’ on the airwaves.

The union federation has also repeated several factual inaccuracies at the same time. The SABC Board therefore has a public duty to set the record straight.
