Johannesburg – Thursday, 17 March 2022 <\/strong>– METRO FM<\/a> will on Friday, 1 April 2022, shake the South African airwaves as it debuts its new line up for 2022\/23. Mpumi Mlambo, tasked with ensuring the audience transitions from midnight into early morning, is the host of the new show \u2018Hustlers Fix\u2019 <\/em>that will broadcast Mondays to Fridays from 02:00 \u2013 05:00. Mpumi is a passionate broadcaster and will make sure METRO FM <\/a>listeners have a great start to their day.<\/p>\n

Moeti \u2018Moflava\u2019 Tsiki will be joined by one of South Africa\u2019s dynamic and influential stars, Khutso Theledi on the METRO FM<\/a><\/em> Breakfast show<\/em>, weekdays from 05:00 \u2013 09:00. The 12:00 \u2013 15:00 weekday time slot receives a refresh as Lerato \u2018LKG\u2019 Kganyago is joined by Tebogo \u2019Proverb\u2019 Thekisho on the Midday Link Up with LKG and Proverb<\/em>. Proverb is a seasoned broadcaster with experience in both television and radio and will bring another fresh element to the show.<\/p>\n

The station is pleased to announce the new afternoon drive show, The Touchdown with Tbo Touch<\/em> which will be presented by Thabo \u2018Tbo Touch\u2019 Molefe who is back and better than ever. The show will broadcast weekdays from 15:00 -18:00.\u00a0 A well experienced sports presenter, Morena Mothupi will be joining the team to do the sports segment. This new show promises to be high energy, fast paced and engaging.<\/p>\n

Mpho \u2018Mo G\u2019 Madise takes over the Monday to Thursday, 21:00 \u2013 00:00 timeslot as he delivers, Let\u2019s talk about it<\/em>. This show will bring life to this night-time time channel , a combination of light talk fused with music to keep you company as you burn the midnight oil. \u00a0METRO FM<\/a> welcomes Ryan \u2018Ryan the DJ\u2019 Nair as he joins The Urban Beat<\/em>, Fridays and Saturdays at 22:00 – 00:00. \u00a0METRO FM<\/a> has an all-new weekend breakfast show, Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good <\/em>with Mat-Elle & Mantsoe. A fresh breakfast club with the girls to make sure that you wake up every Saturday morning with a smile.<\/p>\n

The METRO FM Top30<\/em> with DJ Sabby returns to a three-hour slot every Saturday. The<\/em> Encore <\/em>with Kyeezi & Ms Cosmo is METRO FM\u2019s newest midday weekend show and will broadcast from 12:00 \u2013 15:00. Khanya \u2018Kyeezi\u2019 Siyengo is an experienced broadcaster, DJ, MC and urban culture curator and Nonqaba \u2018Ms Cosmo\u2019 Rwaxa is a radio personality, DJ, MC and music producer. This dynamic duo will take you on a musical journey for three hours.<\/p>\n

Siphesihle \u2018Sphe\u2019 Ngwenya and Lebohang \u2018DJ Naves\u2019 Naves will bring you the Kings of The Weekend<\/em>, Saturday\u2019s from 19:00 \u2013 22:00. METRO FM<\/a><\/em>Lounge<\/em> is coming back, every Sundays from 18:00 \u2013 21:00 with Marian Lartey.<\/p>\n
