Johannesburg \u2013 Thursday, 01 April 2021<\/strong> \u2013 SABC Radio station, Munghana Lonene FM is pleased to announce its line-up changes effective Monday 6 April 2021.
\nThe weekday line-up will see Radio and TV presenter Khensani Nyango<\/em><\/strong> take over the 09:00 to 12:00 <\/em><\/strong>Monday to Friday slot, a show she previously presented for several years. The show will now be called Swa Risima<\/em><\/strong>.
\nMuvhango actor and seasoned presenter, Ike \u201cG-Funk\u201d Ngobeni <\/em><\/strong>returns to the station to host a whole new Afternoon Drive Show. G-Funk <\/em><\/strong>will be joined by Lindiwe \u201cLind-diva\u201d Makhubele <\/strong>as co-host and Bongani \u2018DJ Soulcrusher\u2019 Sithole<\/em><\/strong> will deliver the traffic updates and handle the production. Khoma Ndlela!<\/em><\/strong> will also feature multi-talented comedian Solly Makamu<\/strong> who will be the show\u2019s contributor on Thursdays.
\nChiechie Rikhotso will present the public mandate slot between 20:00 and 22:00<\/em><\/strong> weekdays which will still maintain the SABC Education Hour from 21:00 to 22:00<\/em><\/strong>.
\nOn Friday evenings Xitsonga Hip Hop Pioneer Mchangani<\/em><\/strong> starts the weekend with Emanembenembeni ya Hip Hop <\/em><\/strong>from 22:00 to 01:00.
\nOn Saturday, teen presenter Mpfuxelelo Makaringe<\/strong> will host all the weekend youth educational shows State your mind <\/em><\/strong>and Teen Zone<\/em><\/strong> back to back from 12:00 to 13:00<\/em><\/strong>. Mchangani will now handle the Nkatsakanyo<\/em><\/strong> from 13:00 to 15:00<\/em><\/strong>.

\nOn Saturdays and Sundays between 15:00 to 18:00<\/em><\/strong>, Rhandzu Optimus<\/em><\/strong> will deliver the Sports Show Etimbaleni ta Mintlangu<\/em><\/strong>.

\nSaturday evenings on the station\u2019s flagship sound Xitsonga Top 10 music has been strengthened by the introduction of our seasoned presenter Quinton \u2018The Quintonizer\u2019 Baloyi<\/em><\/strong>. House music show Ta Duma<\/em><\/strong> in a new time slot will never be the same. The show will still be hosted by Rooitjie Tshukeleni <\/em><\/strong>from 22:00 to 01:00.\u00a0\u00a0 Rooitjie Tshukeleni<\/em><\/strong> completes the station line up with the station\u2019s student orientated show Campus Connection<\/em><\/strong> on Sunday evenings 22:00 to 01:00.<\/em><\/strong>

\nMunghana Lonene FM also welcomes two seasoned contributors for the religious programmes, Dr. Esrom Mathumbu<\/strong> joins the station as a Christian contributor and traditional healer Dr. Mashele<\/strong> known as \u201cJ Mashale-Mashale<\/em><\/strong>\u201d also joins the team as an African Tradition expect.

\nTebogo Magubane, Munghana Lonene FM\u2019s Programmes Manager stated \u201cour new line-up and exciting fresh features will reflect the station strategy of being a brand which stays abreast and cement a place as one of the Top 10 Radio brand in South Africa.\u00a0 It will also serve the Vatsonga nation, speak to younger listeners, whilst retaining our mandate programming content that will resonate with loyal listeners\u201d.
