The station, which is historically known to deliver the hottest and latest music, will continue to focus its attention on ensuring its music offering is both strong and cutting-edge.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018The<\/em><\/strong><em> <strong>Ultimix\u2019<\/strong><\/em> presented by<strong> \u201cWeekender5\u201d,<\/strong> will continue to take centre-stage weekdays from 18h00 \u2013 19h00. <strong>DJ Loyd<\/strong> and <strong>Ryan the DJ <\/strong>will present on Mondays, <strong>Kyle Cassim<\/strong> on Tuesdays, <strong>Ms Cosmo<\/strong> on Wednesdays, <strong>Das Kapital<\/strong> and <strong>Pascal &amp; Pearce<\/strong> on Thursdays and the resident DJ every Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Justin Toerien<\/strong> and <strong>Stephanie B<\/strong> have held down the fort from Mondays \u2013 Thursdays with the \u2018<strong><em>Top 10 @ 10<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 which has been renamed \u2018<strong><em>Music Capital\u2019<\/em><\/strong> where listeners will hear brand new tracks from around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Das Kapital<\/strong> extends his dance and electronic contribution with a second show <em>\u2018<strong>In Das we Trust\u2019<\/strong><\/em> on Friday 22h00-01h00 and<strong> <em>\u2018In Das we Trust; Raveyard Edition\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 every Saturday night 22h00 \u2013 01h00 replacing <strong>DJ Loyd\u2019<\/strong>s \u2018<strong><em>The Uncut Mixtape<\/em><\/strong>\u2019. <strong>DJ Loyd<\/strong> now presents at a new timeslot on Saturdays and Sundays from 14h00 \u2013 17h00, with the best of hip hop and house music on <strong><em>\u2018The House Connect\u2019<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0Saturdays and a focus on South African trends on Sundays with the programme <strong><em>\u2018The Uncut Mixtape\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Weekend Breakfast gets a shake-up as <strong>Nicole da Silva<\/strong> takes the reigns on <strong>\u2018<em>5FM Xtra Loud Weekend Mornings\u2019<\/em><\/strong> alongside <strong>Jude van Wyk<\/strong> on sport and <strong>Sibs Matiyela<\/strong> on news. <strong>Nadia Romanos<\/strong> moves to news on \u2018<strong><em>The Thabooty Drive<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 alongside <strong>Thando Thabethe<\/strong> and <strong>Msizi James<\/strong> Monday \u2013 Friday\u00a0 from 15h00 \u2013 18h00.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Msizi James, <\/strong>co-host on<strong> <em>\u2018The Thabooty Drive\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>takes over the \u2018<strong><em>5FM Top 40<\/em><\/strong> \u2018music show on Saturdays 10h00 \u2013 14h00, while <strong>Vic Naidoo<\/strong> takes control on Sundays 10:00-14:00 with a focus on listener music choices.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a bid to get the party started early on weekends, Saturdays from 17h00 \u2013 19h00 will play host to <strong>Ryan the DJ\u2019s <em>\u20185tarting from 5cratch\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>show followed by a Saturday edition of <strong>\u2018<em>The Kyle Cassim Show\u2019<\/em><\/strong> from 19h00 \u2013 22h00 and <em>\u2018<strong>In Das we Trust: Raveyard Edition\u2019<\/strong><\/em> from 22h00 \u2013 01h00.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sunday\u2019s music offering will remain relatively unchanged with \u2018<strong><em>Selective Styles\u2019<\/em><\/strong> with <strong>Kid Fonque<\/strong> from 17h00 \u2013 19h00 and <strong>Ms Cosmo\u2019s<\/strong> \u2018<strong><em>The Stir Up\u2019<\/em><\/strong> from 19h00 \u2013 22h00.
