Port Elizabeth \u2013 Monday 1 April 2019 \u2013<\/span><\/b> Today, Umhlobo <\/span>Wenene unveiled its line-up changes, in line with the station operating in a fast paced radio environment, as it aims to constantly evolve and remain relevant to its target market and grow to its maximum capacity. <\/span><\/p>\n

The station has taken the decision to re-shuffle some of its presenters and there will be no new on air presenters joining the station. The station has introduced a new show \u2018Iingcebiso Ngezomthetho\u2019,<\/i> <\/b>which will look into legal matters that will be presented by Luckeez Matyolweni,<\/b> with a resident advocate from 21h30 \u2013 22h30. <\/span><\/p>\n

The station also wishes to announce that the programme \u2018Zibuzwa kuthi\u2019, <\/i><\/b>which broadcasts from 12h00 \u2013 13h00 on Mondays to Fridays will now be presented by <\/i>Siphosethu Nonganga<\/b>. Mafa Bavuma<\/b> moves to be part of the \u2018BEE Show\u2019<\/i><\/b>, which airs on Mondays to Fridays from 06h30 \u2013 09h00. <\/b>These two changes will be effective as from 3 June 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

The station has introduced a new programme \u2018Masixolelane\u2019<\/i><\/b> which will be broadcast on Mondays from 22h00 \u2013 00h00 <\/i><\/b>and <\/i><\/b>will be presented by Tsidi Monteiro. <\/i><\/b>It replaces the programme \u2018Usagoduka Nha?\u2019<\/i><\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Elvis Mali<\/span><\/b> will continue to present the programmes \u2018Umculo WeJazz\u2019<\/i><\/b> on Sundays from 22h00 \u2013 00h00 and \u2018Ezolimo\u2019 <\/i><\/b>on Friday mornings from <\/span>03h00 -04h30.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Phumzile Mnci, the station manager of Umhlobo Wenene FM, who is also the acting Provincial General Manager of the Eastern Cape Province stated \u201cI am thrilled to introduce this new line up, which I believe will deliver innovative and cutting edge programming. Umhlobo Wenene FM listeners can also look forward to new and vibrant features across our programmes that will be introduced incrementally in the next three months\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n
