The Group Executive for News and Current Affairs, Mr. Moshoeshoe Monare stated that \u201cIn our latest triumph, we’re thrilled to introduce a stellar lineup of programs and anchors that undoubtedly keep the SABC News as a credible source of news. Millions of South Africans trust and rely on our content and information\u201d.<\/p>\n

The audiences will be treated to a brand-new hard-hitting show,\u00a0\u2018Face the Nation\u2019<\/b>\u00a0with the incomparable\u00a0Clement Manyathela<\/b>, where tough questions are tackled, and leaders will be held accountable.\u00a0<\/span>In addition, SABC News is thrilled to announce the launch of the new feature,\u00a0\u2018Explain and Verify\u2019<\/b>, a fact-check show.\u00a0\u2018Explain and Verify\u2019<\/b>\u00a0will delve deep into critical issues, providing in-depth analysis, verification, and clear explanations to ensure our audience is well-informed. This will help decipher any misinformation and disinformation that have become a global phenomenon.<\/p>\n

The compelling young and dynamic\u00a0Ayanda Nyathi<\/b>\u00a0will set the agenda in the mid-morning show\u00a0\u2018The Agenda\u2019,<\/b>\u00a0weekdays. Additionally, the dynamic and knowledgeable\u00a0Mfundo<\/b>\u00a0Mabalane<\/b>\u00a0joins the prime-time\u00a0\u2018Full View\u2019\u00a0<\/b>team, which is the SABC News\u2019s premier daily show.\u00a0\u2018The Late Edition\u2019<\/b>, the news wrap show, will provide late-night breaking news with the captivating\u00a0Mpho Sithole<\/b>\u00a0to cap off the news day.<\/p>\n

Mr Monare further stated that \u201c\u2018We are excited to introduce\u00a0\u2018Democracy 30\u2019<\/b>, a special initiative to celebrate our nation’s democracy. Through this program, the vibrant\u00a0Oliver Dickson<\/b>\u00a0will take stock of our journey, reflecting on where we come from as a nation and providing platforms to South Africans to express and reflect on their experiences. We are also bringing viewers rolling coverage of the general elections through town Halls from all corners of the most remote village to the bustling Metros of South Africa in all indigenous languages.\u00a0On the\u00a0\u2018Election360\u2019<\/b>\u00a0special, Sakina Kamwendo<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Blain Herman<\/b>\u00a0will host the political party debates\u201d.<\/p>\n
