Johannesburg – Friday, 17 March 2023 <\/strong>\u2013 The country\u2019s largest commercial radio station, METRO FM, will on Monday 03 April 2023, shake the South African airwaves as it unveils its new line up for 2023\/24.<\/p>\n

Siya Mhlongo, tasked with ensuring the audience gets the most out of the mornings and\u00a0start<\/em>\u00a0their\u00a0day<\/em>\u00a0right<\/span>, is the host of the new show \u2018Command Your Day\u2019 <\/em>that will broadcast on Mondays to Fridays from 05:00 \u2013 06:00.<\/p>\n

Sabelo Mtshali known as DJ Sabby, the new host of \u2018METRO FM Breakfast\u2019<\/em>, will be joined by one of South Africa\u2019s dynamic and influential stars, Kandice \u2018Kandice Kardash\u2019 Coulsen. The show, broadcast weekdays from 06:00 \u2013 09:00, promises to be high energy, fast paced and engaging.<\/p>\n

Khutso Theledi takes over \u2018The Bridge\u2019 from <\/em>Mondays to Fridays between 09:00 \u2013 12:00 and will be joined by Somizi Mhlongo, who is making a comeback to the station and will contribute on the highly popular segment \u2018Ask a Man\u2019<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The station is pleased to announce Faith Mangope as the new host of \u2018METRO FM Talk\u2019<\/em>, from Monday to Thursday 19:00 \u2013 21:00. Faith is a highly experienced broadcaster, entrepreneur, and business woman. <\/span><\/p>\n

The station is also excited to launch its new digital offering \u2018METRO FM OFF-AIR, to be <\/em>presented by Ayabonga Cawe and will flight once a week. More details will be unveiled soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The station is excited about the return of Paul Mtirara, with the programme \u2018Let\u2019s Talk about it\u2019<\/em> that will broadcast from Monday to Thursday from 21:00 \u2013 00:00 as he brings you the best of music and talk.\u00a0 This show will bring life to this night time channel, with a combination of light talk fused with music to keep you company as you burn the midnight oil.<\/p>\n

METRO FM welcomes DJ Le Soul as she joins Ryan the DJ on \u2018The Urban Beat\u2019<\/em>, Fridays and Saturdays from 22:00 – 00:00.<\/p>\n

The young upcoming talented Pretty Ngwenya, fresh from Vow Radio, will be taking over the early weekend breakfast show \u2018The Lift\u2019 on Saturdays and Sundays 03:00 \u2013 06:00.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good\u2019<\/em> with hosts Mat Elle and Somizi Mhlongo, every Saturday between 06:00 \u2013 09:00 promises to deliver the freshest in entertainment, lifestyle, sports, food and <\/span><\/em>community focused projects. <\/span><\/p>\n

The biggest music chat show in the country <\/span>\u2018METRO FM TOP 30\u2019 <\/em>will be in the best hands of <\/span>Khanya Siyengo \u201cKyeezi\u201d every Saturday from 09:00 \u2013 12:00. Mpumi Mlambo, will follow him between 12:00 \u2013 15:00, taking you on a musical journey, with the show \u2018The Encore\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lulo Caf\u00e9, one of the best in the in entertainment space, is taking over the \u2018METRO FM Lounge<\/em>\u2019 every Sunday between 18:00 \u2013 21:00.<\/p>\n

The rest of the line-up remains the same.<\/p>\n
