Energy Department justifies fuel price hike

The Energy Department says this month's substantial increase in the price of fuel has been partly prompted by a raise in the salaries of petrol attendants.

The price of 95 octane petrol will rise by 29 cents to R13.62 per litre and 93 octane will increase by the same amount to R13.38 in Gauteng.
