The Lottery Warner Horizon Television s new conspiracy thriller series The Lottery, from writer/executive producer Timothy J. Sexton (Children of Men, Live from Baghdad), will be broadcast on SABC 3, from Tuesday, 29th November 2016 at 21h00.

Set in a dystopian future when women have stopped having children, The Lottery reveals a world staring down the barrel of impending extinction. Remarkably, 100 embryos are successfully fertilized and a national lottery is held to decide the surrogates. As conflict, control and mystery over this global crisis unfolds, the government’s interests and power begin to dominate, igniting a highly controversial debate over our fundamental and personal freedom to raise a family.

The Lottery was written by Timothy J. Sexton who also serves as executive producer with Dawn Olmstead (Prison Break, Tru Calling). Danny Cannon (CSI, Nikita) directed and executive produced the pilot, which is from Grady Girl Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television.

Tune in for all the intrigue and drama and watch how the battle over the control of the 100 embryos begins in The Lottery on SABC 3 every Tuesday at 21H00 starting 29th November, 2016.
