| Wednesday 12 September 2012 13:30
13 episodes of Hola Hamonate series five is scheduled for screening on SABC2, Tuesdays at 11am from 18th September. Hola Hamonate is presented by the elderly for the elderly; it is a space where the elderly can share their challenges, triumphs and wisdom. The show is a platform for conversation where the elderly can unpack current issues at their own pace and in their own style. Anthony Wilson and Clementine Mosimane are presenters of this season of Hola Hamonate.
“Hola Hamonate gives the elderly an opportunity to contribute and share their wisdom with their peers and generations to follow. This season the show travels to communities and finds remarkable oldies in their homes who share their stories with South Africa. By spending a day in the shoes of the elderly, the presenters demystify the lives of our senior citizens and encourage a new perspective on ageing. We hope Hola Hamonate will promote new value, honour and respect the elderly” says Surekha Singh, SABC Education’s public information and social development commissioning editor.
Clementine Mosimane is a diverse performer who has graced South African stages and screens. Her extensive career began when she was in high school where she presented youth programmes for the SABC. Clementine’s work ranges across a variety of genres with theatre, presenting and television dramatic performance being a few.
