Lotus FM is excited to announce the launch of its brand new soapie called Sunshine Mall. Filled with delightful characters doing business at a sunny shopping mall near the sea, it is sure to be popular and attract a huge following. After ending its last soapie earlier this year, Lotus has broadcast a number of shorter serials but drama producer Raeesa Mohamed has been working on getting Sunshine Mall off the ground. She says: ‘I’m really excited about this. It’s taken a lot of hard work but when I had my first recording in our drama studio, I knew it had all been worth it. The drama is written by talented Nadd Rama and has a cast of professional  actors who have a string of credentials behind them. We all had a lot of fun bringing the characters to life’.

Lotus FM’s Station Manager Alvin Pillay said:‘I am excited at the excellent production and the committedcast have put in a lot of hard work to bring yet another superb soapie to the public.  I thank the team for their commitment and dedication and Iam confident that the soapie is going to grow in popularity and attract a large listenership.

Sunshine Mall’s first episode starts on the 1st October at 09h45 and repeated at 20h45. Make sure you catch it.
