Lesedi FM hosts learners

In support of the Men in the Making Campaign spearheaded by Tracker and METRO FM on 29 March, the FS & NC Provincial office in Bloemfontein, through Lesedi FM, hosted 16 grade 11 learners from two Bloemfontein Township High Schools, Vulamasango and Hodisa.

The learners who were accompanied by three teachers, thanked the SABC for giving them five hours of inspiration and exposure to the broadcasting world. Men in the Making is a project that seeks to raise responsible young men through the introduction to role models, career guidance, mentoring, support, life skills development, moral regeneration and to challenge them to overcome their obstacles and work towards becoming productive adult citizens of our country.

"We applaud the teachers for including both boys and girls. We hope that the special effort taken by the 1st Citizens to share their work experiences with the learners will empower them to make the right career choices in the near future" said Daphne Mothobi (Communications Manager).
