SABC1 Mzansi Fo Sho introduces Live Amp Tonight…

It’s confirmed! Live Amp will start airing on the channel this Friday 21 September 2012, at 21h00. The new show is presented by a dynamic duo comprising Warrick Stock aka DJ Warras and Luthando Shosha.
When asked about his feelings at joining the popular Friday-night music show, this is what DJ Warras had to say: “I’m feeling very excited about the opportunity. I am also thankful for the platform and really looking forward to a great stay on the show!”
With the new show viewers will get to enjoy exciting features including the following: the Top 5 Chart - where viewers are encouraged to vote for their favorite video of the week; Live Amp Sessions - hanging out with artists in their own space; Live Amp Shout Outs - the show goes to the viewers at various functions and in the streets to get them to send shout outs and also request their favorite videos; Live Amp Vaults – is an old-school throw back song selection; Wall of Fame - a video that has been voted no 1 for 6 weeks will be retired on the wall of fame and will become part of the highlights at the end of the year; and, Video Mixing will see a DJ mixing videos live on air.

The Live Amp show will kick off tonight with performances by Lvovo and Toya De Lezy, Ian credible is on the 1s and 2s and will do the very 1st video mix. The show will sit down to chat with Talib Kweli while he was in the country, and will bring viewers the latest music headlines.

Originally from the KZN region of Vryheid, 80’s born Warrick Stock is making a name for himself in the media and entertainment industry with his fresh and confident attitude and contagious charisma for which he has become well known for.
Warrick kicked off his media career at the popular radio station YFM in 2008 and was promoted to day time radio in 2010 where he could be heard on Prime Mode with the Shady Lurker (weekdays: 12h00-15h00) – he is currently the anchor host on a weekly radio show called Undisputed (6-9pm).
He has been requested and booked DJ and MC for numerous and varied activations and events around the country since 2005. He has added Club and Mix DJ’ing since 2009.
He is co-founder owner of a successful and unique Eventing Brand known as Triple Threat.
Catering to diverse audiences across the urban spectrum, Warrick sets himself above the rest with his ability to relate to any market coupled with passion for music and people - the driving force behind his success.
