Eleven people were killed  on Friday, 3 October when a van and a truck collided head-on in Mpumalanga.

The Road Accident Fund has begun assisting the families of those affected by a multi-vehicle pile-up on the N12 near Alberton in Gauteng, which left four people dead, the Saturday Star reported.
