Two people died and five others were injured when a bus collided with two cars at the corner of Leopold and and Grey streets in the Durban city centre on Friday night.


The families say they are shocked and devastated by the incident. In both incidents the taxi drivers were killed however the driver of the truck survived.

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza has extended his condolences to the family of the male pedestrian who was hit on the road by one of Mabuza's convoy vehicles.


The minibus carrying pupils burst into flames after it collided head on with a truck, killing 18 pupils and two adults.
DNA results of Bronkhorstspruit crash due out Wednesday

DNA test results of 18 children killed in last month's Bronkhorstspruit crash have been concluded and families will be issued with the results and death certificates on Wednesday.


Fourteen learners from Refano Primary and four from Mahlenga Secondary died in the accident; seven others survived and were admitted at various hospitals.
