Police in North West say those who shot and killed three mineworkers at Aquarius mine outside Rustenburg, will be arrested.
Police are conducting forensic investigations and ballistic tests to determine the killers. Striking mineworkers have vowed to continue with the protest action outside the mine gates until those who killed their colleagues are arrested.
The three people were killed during clashes between mineworkers and security personnel. Police say petrol bombs and stones were thrown, and then live ammuntion was allegedly fired. Disgruntled mineworkers were protesting after they lost a case over their re-instatement
