An update on the condition of former President, Nelson Mandela, is only expected later on Sunday. The Presidency last reported on Saturday that Madiba is in a serious but stable condition in a Pretoria hospital.
Madiba is battling a recurring lung infection. There has been no update from the Presidency since they made the announcement on Saturday.
Journalists from local and international media organisations continue to camp outside a Pretoria hospital, where it's believed the former statesman is receiving treatment.
His daughter, Makiziwe, was also spotted at the hospital by journalists yesterday. The same vehicle, in which she drove on Saturday, was spotted driving into the premises a short while ago.
The Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) Cluster has also joined millions of local and international communities in wishing Mandela, a speedy recovery.
The JCPS held its first meeting at the state-of-the-art government communication building in Hatfield, Pretoria this morning Justice Minister and Chair of the JCPS, Jeff Radebe says Cabinet wishes Madiba well.
Meanwhile, the JCPS has named and shamed more than 242 people arrested and convicted of corruption amounting to millions of rand between last year and the beginning of this year.
