Ratings agency ' Moody's ' has left South Africa's credit rating in investment grade.

The agency was due to announce a review of SA's credit rating Friday tonight, however it is being reported that Moody's has informed Treasury that no statement will be released.

No statement means no change.

Ratings have been a major fear factor for South Africa's economic players and ordinary citizens, after two rating agencies moved the country into so-called junk status after President Jacob Zuma's sudden cabinet reshuffle in March, in which he fired Pravin Gordhan as Finance Minister.
