Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung, his business partner at Lefika Emerging Equity, Herbert Theledi and two others return to the Nelspruit Regional Court today on charges of fraud and corruption.
The men were re-arrested after the postponement of another fraud case on Friday. They are out on bail of R15 000 each.
The new charges added to Bobby Motaung, Herbert Theledi, Chris Grib emanates from the year 2006, when they allegedly collaborated to appoint construction giant Basil Reed to build the Mbombela stadium. The charges involve the loss of R 920 million.
Motoung, Theledi and Grib are also accused of appointing a second bid evaluation committee with Jacob Dladla's help and without the mbombela municipal council's knowledge.
The new suspect, Michael Romanos, Grib's legal representative has been charged with misrepresenting information.
They will appear alongside former Mbombela municipal manager Jacob Dladla and Ehlanzeni's technical manager Tebogo Kubheka who are also facing charges of fraud and corruption.
