The murder case of three men who allegedly shot and killed world boxing champion, Corrie Sanders, has been postponed in the Brits Magistrate's Court.

Sanders was gunned down during an armed robbery, while attending a birthday party at a country lodge last month. Paida Fish, Chris Moyo and Samuel Mabena each face a charge of murder and three counts of robbery with aggravating circumstances.

The case has been postponed for the Legal Aid board to make final arrangements for Mabena to be afforded a lawyer. Supporters packed the courtroom, while others chanted songs outside the building in support of the Sanders family.

Mabena and his co-accused Paida Fish and Chris Moyo have not indicated whether they will apply for bail or not. However, prosecutors believe they have a strong case against the three. Mabena also made a brief appearance on a separate case of murder. It's alleged he also killed a farmer during an armed robbery last month. The three will appear in court again on the 13th of next month.
