“South Africa's rate of rape as a particular form of gender based violence has been found to be one of the highest in the world. As the city that is growing it's economy we simply cannot afford gender based violence. Each day violence stops a girl from going to school and prevents a women from taking a job compromising their future and economic and social development of their communities. Gender based violence is an enemy of progress in every way.”
