President Jacob Zuma says through his selflessness and humility, the late African National Congress (ANC) President, Oliver Tambo remains a symbol of what a free South Africa should be like.
“President Oliver Reginald Tambo was, still is and will always be the pride of the National Congress,” added President Zuma.
He was delivering the 10th ANC centennial lecture at the University of Pretoria, this afternoon, in honour of the longest serving ANC President.
The lecture, which coincided with the 3rd ANC International Solidarity Conference, is attended by Deputy President, Kgalema Motlanthe, founding President of the Pan African Parliament, Getrude Mongella and former Mozambican President, Joachim Chissano.
