Freedom Movement urges pressure on Zuma to step down

The Freedom Movement has called on all South Africans to rally together in a call to remove President Jacob Zuma.

The movement is made out of a coalition of political parties, academia, civil society and interested parties.

It’s leader, political analyst Prince Mashele says it has the full backing of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, in their mission to rally to the Freedom Park this coming Freedom Day, the 27 of April to strengthen a call to remove President Zuma.

This was announced Thursday at a press briefing to call on all South African to joint them on the day.

Speaking on Morning Live, the movement's Mashele and Catherine Constantinides vowed to lead rallies and marches across the country in the coming days including converging at Freedom Park on Freedom Day to highlight their dissatisfaction with the president.
