South Africa's  T20 cricket captain, Faf du Plessis, says there's no area of weakness in the Proteas squad which takes on Australia on Friday.

He says, “It looks as if we're ticking all the boxes in the team; and there's no area in our team we feel is a weakness. I feel every gap has been plugged and I feel it’s very nice to have.”

The Australians, although not all that experienced, cannot be underestimated.

Australian Captain Steve Smith says, “I think we've got a very good side to win T20 tournaments and series. We've got a good bunch together at the moment. We've got a good mix of some explosive batters; some guys who get off strike really well; a lot of wicket takers and a good fielding side which is very important in T20 cricket.”

SA Cricket Captain, Mignon Du Preez, says, “As a team, we're in a very good space. We have a lot of momentum with us.”
Both sides are remaining tight lipped about team selection.

There's good news on the weather front. No rain is expected at Kingsmead, where many a downpour have disrupted international cricket matches.
