The Marikana Support Campaign has accused the Farlam Commssion of poor planning after it became known that the Rustenburg Civic Center is reserved for a schools event over the next three days.

The commission has adjourned for the second time in less than a month, after sitting for two days this week. It will reconvene on Monday. The first leg of the hearings was delayed for two weeks.

Rihai Desai of the Marikana Support Campaign says: " It's a bit of a farce they did not check before they decided to use this venue and weather there were any bookings made or not. And subsequently they found out this venue is booked, there's no place for any refreshments, there's no place for any lunch, it's a very uncomfortable place that's why we've given the offer of providing a tent so we can at least service the most affected the families and those strikers who are  injured."

The commission, which adjourned for the second time in less than a month, will reconvene on Monday.
